Enzymes Infused with Essential Oils – A Ticket to Better Health!

October 20, 2011

I have been awestruck by the beauty of the changing leaves in the mountains of Western North Carolina – this year is spectacular. As I watch the leaves changing, I am reminded that this process is happening because the enzymes in the plants are preparing the leaf to change and die off – the enzymes are digesting the leaves, making them change colors, and getting them ready to decompose! Without enzymes seeds would not grow or germinate. They also enhance the absorption of the nutrients that the plants need to survive. Essential oils have enzymatic-like activity, and they also stimulate enzyme activity in the body. As an example, Frankincense has been shown to be very effective at getting rid of many kinds of cancer – it’s actually helping the body “digest” the cancer.

Unfortunately today, our food sources are practically void of enzymes….. it’s no wonder that there are so many digestive diseases these days. It’s important to supplement with enzymes that will help our bodies be as healthy as they can be. Our bodies create over 3,000 different kinds of enzymes, all with their own job description. Within the cells of our lungs, liver, brain and digestive system, we should have millions of enzymes to be healthy. As an example, enzymes stimulate the brain to increase the memory!

Did you know that the FDA has approved enzyme therapies for cancer, cardiovascular disease, removal of necrotic tissue, gastrointestinal conditions, pancreatic conditions & removal of toxic substances from the blood?

What can enzymes do?
Clean clogged arteries of plaque; empty stomach of undigested fat; prevent stroke and heart attack, to name a few. Enzymes eliminate old fat and proteins left deposited from years, causing cardiovascular problems (Taussig & Nepier 1979). Protease reduces inflammation processes and enhances circulation and the immune system by improving and increasing the surface area of the red blood cell, allowing it to transport more oxygen. (1978 Sulfreurdd, Taussig-Morris). Enzymes are also effective in weight regulation (overweight people are often lacking in lipase). Enzymes prevent allergies and degeneration, such as: gluten and lactose intolerance; leaky gut; acid reflux; heartburn; environmental allergens; colds, coughs, flu and degenerative disease!

Enzymes can help clear the body of undigested proteins and meats. Undigested starches, sugars and carbohydrates will ferment fats, turning them rancid. Toxins create a host for disease, such as candida, leaky gut, brain fog, fatigue, hypoglycemia, depression, allergies and fibromyalgia.

Young Living has created an incredible new product called Essentialzyme-4. Essentialzyme-4 is a multi-spectrum enzyme complex specially formulated to aid the critically needed digestion of dietary fats, proteins, fiber and carbohydrates commonly found in modern, processed diets. The dual time-release technology releases the animal and plant-based enzymes at separate times within the digestive track, allowing for optimal nutrient absorption.

Essentialzyme-4 combines both animal and plant-based enzymes into a single solution to help the body more completely break down problematioc foods, such as high fats, and excessive starch. The plant-based enzymes capsule is designed to release immediately upon entering the stomach, where the pH environment is acidic, and conducive to plant-based enzyme breakdown and proper absorption. The animal-based capsule is formulated to delay its release in the lower intestine region, where the environment is more alkaline and the pH level is better suited for animal-based enzyme breakdown and proper absorption.

Essentialzyme-4 can be used daily with meals for optimal digestive benefits. Take 1/2 hour before meals.
*When consumed with meals, Essentialzyme-r provides key digestive enzyme groups needed for the proper breakdown of fats, proteins, fiber, carbohydrates and processed foods.
* Formulated to support a more complete digestive cycle.
*Daily use enhances nutrient absorption unlocks food minerals, improves critical energy uptake derived from food, and supports the generation of vital amino acids needed for healthy cells and organs.
*Each capsule is infused with essential oils, such as lemongrass, ginger and fennel to soothe and assist with minor intestinal discomfort.

*These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.*

Young Living’s essential oil-infused Slique Tea

September 28, 2011

Slique Tea Introduced at Young Living Convention

Young Living unveiled their new tea at Convention this past week, and boy is it a winner! Here’s what I learned about Young Living’s Slique Tea:

It contains Oolong from Taiwan – the best on the planet (even better than that found in China, because it is grown at higher elevations) – only 3 species of oolong out of the 17 species are effective for metabolism and immune system support, and Young Living’s Slique Tea contains the species that IS effective.

It contains Raw Cacao – and what you need to know about getting the benefits from raw cacao – you must not heat it over 140 degrees, because if you do, it will destroy the antioxidant benefits (most companies heat it to 210 degrees or more). Young Living’s Raw Cacao is produced at 140 degrees using a vacuum hydrator – so it still maintains vitamin C, and 98% of antioxidants are still present!

It contains ocotea from Ecuador. Young Living is the only company that has ocotea essential oil, and the research on ocotea shows that it reduces insulin, balances blood sugar levels, lowers hypertension, is antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic and is amazing for stomach ailments!

It contains Frankincense resin from Arabia, which is highly anti-inflammatory.

It contains Vanilla Essential Oil from Brazil – and what is really important to know about this is: Vanilla essential oil is usually produced using benzene and hexane to extract it (which are very toxic) – Young Living’s vanilla essential oil is extracted without using toxic chemicals.

Not only does this tea taste wonderful – it’s very smooth and soft, with no bitter taste – it is a wonderful weight loss product!  Mark Schreuder, from Young Living, lost 45 pounds in a matter of months by drinking a cup of Slique Tea 30 minutes before meals.  He said it really made him much less hungry, so he ate less and had more energy.  When Mark came out on the stage, everyone was amazed – we hardly recognized him.  Another young lady who came on stage lost over 30 pounds in a few months doing the same thing.

I bought some of this magnificent tea and plan to drink it every day – just for the healing benefits of the ingredients contained in it……..   I’ll keep you posted :-)

To find this and other new products (as well as all their other wonderful products) go to your Young Living account and start shopping.  If you don’t have an account, you can get one here:  http://www.youngliving.com/489107  (pick either retail or wholesale distributor to save money).

The Powerful Influence of Aromatherapy

The Powerful Influence of Aromas on Both Mind and Body

The fragrance of an essential oil can directly affect everything from your emotional state to your Lifespan.  When a fragrance is inhaled, the odor molecules travel up the nose where they are trapped by olfactory membranes that are well protected by the lining inside the nose.  Each odor molecule fits like a little puzzle piece into specific receptor cell sites that line a membrane known as the olfactory epithelium.  Each one of these hundreds of millions of nerve cells is replaced every 28 days.  When stimulated by odor molecules this lining of nerve cells triggers electrical impulses to the olfactory bulb in the brain.  The olfactory bulb then transmits the impulses to the gustatory center (where emotional memories are stored), and other parts of the limbic system of the brain. Because the limbic system is directly connected to those parts of the brain that control heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress levels, and hormone balance, essential oils can have profound physiological and psychological effects.

The sense of smell is the only one of the five senses directly linked to the limbic lobe of the brain, the emotional control center.  Anxiety, depression, fear, anger, and joy all emanate from this region.  The scent of special fragrance can evoke memories and emotions before we are even consciously aware of it.  When smells are concerned, we react first and think later. All other senses (touch, taste, hearing, and the switchboard for the brain, passing stimuli onto the cerebral cortex,
(the conscious thought center) and other parts of the brain.

The limbic lobe (a group of brain structures that includes the hippocampus and amygdala located below the cerebral cortex) can also directly activate the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus is one of the most important parts of the brain, acting as our hormonal control center. It releases chemical messengers that can affect everything from sex drive to energy levels. The production of growth hormones, sex hormones, thyroid hormones, and neurotransmitters such as serotonin, are all governed by the hypothalamus.  Thus, the hypothalamus is referred to as the master gland.

Essential oils, through their fragrance and unique molecular structure, can directly stimulate the limbic lobe and the hypothalamus.  Not only can the inhalation of essential oils be used to combat stress, and emotional trauma, but it can also stimulate the production of hormones from the hypothalamus.  This results in increased thyroid hormones (our energy hormone) and growth hormones (our youth and longevity hormone).

Releasing Emotions with Essential Oils

May 19, 2011

I’d like to share some information that I received from Nancy Sanderson – and I would like to thank Nancy for all she does to educate others on the efficacy of therapeutic grade essential oils from Young Living for addressing health on all levels – physical, emotional and spiritual.

Today we live in a society of emotional turmoil. More and more the evidence is accumulating that our emotional health can have a profound effect on our physical health.  More than ever before  researchers are probing the impact that emotional states have on the physical condition of the body.  Many doctors are recognizing the possibility that a number of diseases are caused by emotional problems that link back to infancy and childhood–and perhaps even in  the womb.  These emotional problems can compromise body systems and even genetic structuring through a process that translates creates the equivalent of a molecular ‘memory’ in key organs and structures of the body.

“Negative experiences and ideas are recorded in our brains and locked into our memories throughout our lives. These memories range from mild to extreme and have a profound effect on our health and happiness.  In order to become who we are intended to be, we must erase these negative experiences and reprogram our thoughts to make positive ideas our reality.” D. Gary Young

As scientists have studied to understand the neural basis of emotions, they have discovered that the limbic system of the brain plays a vital role in interpreting and channeling intense experience, particularly memories of fear or trauma. Interestingly, the two parts of the limbic system which play a major role in emotional processing– the amygdala and the hypothalamus– are located less than an inch of the olfactory nerve.

In 1989, researchers agreed that the amygdala–one on each side of the inner brain–play a major role in storing and releasing emotional trauma and that aromas have a profound effect in triggering response from the amygdala.  Joseph Ledoux, MD. of New York Medical University was one of the first to suggest that the use of aroma could be a major breakthrough in helping to trigger the release of pent-up emotional trauma.

So, D. Gary Young created the Feelings Kit for the first step to releasing negative emotions and erasing memories of experiences that adversely impact our lives. The six essential oil bends formulated by D. Gary Young, provide the foundation for balancing energy, forgiveness, and identifying oneself.

EMOTIONAL CLEARING PROTOCOL

VALOR

Step 1 - Apply 3-6 drops Valor on each foot and hold the right foot in the right hand; left foot in the left hand for a minute or two until balance is felt.  Valor should be the first blend used and applied to the bottom of the feet when starting an emotional clearing.  It helps balance the energies within the body, helping to give courage, confidence and self-esteem.   Valor gives you courage to stand up for yourself.  Valor contains:  Rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora) which is soothing and nourishing to the skin.  It has been researched at Weber State University for its inhibition rate against gram positive and gram negative bacterial growth.   This oil is soothing, creates elasticity, and helps the skin rid itself of irritation and problems, such as candida. It is anti-infectious, antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, and antiparasitic.  Blue Tansy (Tanacvetum annuam) may help cleanse the liver and calm the lymphatic system helping one to overcome anger and negative emotions promoting a feeling of self-control.  Its primary constituents are limonene and sesquiterpenes.  European research shows that it works as an antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, and stimulant for the thymus gland reducing dermatitis, arthritis, sciatica, tuberculosis, and allergies.  Frankincense-(Boswellia carteri) is considered a holy anointing oil in the Middle East and has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.  High in sesquiterpenes, it helps stimulate limbic part of the brain, which elevates the mind, helping to overcome stress and despair. It is used in European medicine to combat depression.  Spruce (Picea mariana) helps to open and release emotional blocks, bringing about a feeling of balance and grounding. Traditionally, spruce oil was believed to possess the frequency of prosperity. Spruce is ant-infectious, anti-septic, and anti-inflammatory.

Harmony
Step 2 – Apply 2 drops on the energy meridians either directly on or along the side of the body.
Harmony is an exquisite blend of 12 essential oils, which promotes physical and emotional healing through harmonic balance of the energy centers of the body, enabling energy toflow more efficiently. It helps reduce stress and create an overall sense of well-being.  Harmony contains: Hyssop ( Hyssopus officinalis) is very balancing for emotions.  Spruce (Picea Mariana) read above in valor about spruce.  Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has sedative and calming properties that help overcome insomnia, headaches, stress, and nervous tension.  Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) stimulates nerves and assists in balancing hormones.  Its aromatic influence helps release negative memories, thereby opening and elevating the mind.  Frankincense (Boswellia carteri) (read above about frankincense in Valor).  Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) helps bring about a sense of relaxation and may help balance male and female energies. It balances equilibrium and restores confidence and self-love.  Sandalwood (Santalum album) is high in sesquiterpenes, which have been researched for their ability to stimulate the pineal gland and the limbic region of the brain, the center of our emotions.  Sandalwood is similar to frankincense in its support of nerves and circulation and meditation.  Angelica (Angelica archangelica) helps to bring memories back to the point of origin before trauma or anger was experienced, helping us to release negative feelings.  Rose (Rosa damascena) possesses the highest frequency of the oils.  It creates a sense of balance, harmony, and well-being and elevates the mind. It promotes healthy skin and reduces scarring.  Orange (Citrus sinensis) was believed to bring joy, peace, and happiness to those who possessed it. Orange is elevating to the mind and body.  Bergamot (Citrus bergmia) is one of the most uplifting fragrances, simultaneously energizing and calming, with a unique ability to relieve anxiety, stress, tension.  Jasmine (Jasminum officinale) is beneficial for dry, greasy, irritated, or sensitive skin.  It is used for muscle spasms, sprains, coughs, laryngitis, frigidity, depression, and nervous exhaustion.  Lemon (Citrus lemon) has antiseptic-like properties and contains compounds that have been studied for their effects on the immune function.  Lemon promotes a sense of well-being and its fragrance is stimulating and invigorating.  Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) is helpful for all types of skin problems such as candida, rashes, and scaly and flaky skin. It is supportive to the nervous and cardiovascular system.  Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) may calm and relieve restlessness, tension, insomnia, cuts, scrapes, bruises muscle tension and expel toxins from the liver.  Rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora) read above in Valor about Rosewood.

Forgiveness – Step 3 – Apply Forgiveness 1 drop under the nose and 1 drop around the navel.

Forgiveness contains the frequencies of oils that may help release negative memories.  This may have powerful effects in helping people move past emotional barriers, enabling them to achieve higher awareness, and compelling them to forgive and let go.  Forgiveness containsRose ( Rosa Damascena) found in Harmony.   Melissa (Melissa officinalis) is a powerful, antimicrobial oil, yet it is very gentle and delicate because of the nature of the plant, and helps to bring out those characteristics within the individual.  It is calming, and balancing to the emotion. Melissa is one of the highest in sesquiterpenes, much like cedarwood. It is very stimulating to the anterior pituitary and immune system.  Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) may help release feelings of anger promoting forgiveness.   Frankincense ( Boswellia arteri) found in Valor and Harmony, plus all these other oils – Angelica, Sandalwood, Lavender, Bergamot, Geranium, Jasmine, Lemon, Palmarosa Roman Chamomile, and Rosewood.

Release  – Step 4 – Apply 1-2 drops over the liver area in a circular motion.
Release blend is formulated to support the release of traumatic memories from the cells of the  liver. Many energy medicine doctors believe that anger and hate energy is stored in the liver.  Release stimulates a sense of harmony and balance within the mind and body and help release anger and memory trauma from the cells of the liver bringing a sense of peace and emotional well-being.  Letting go of negative emotions and releasing frustration enables one to progress in a positive way.  Release contains:  Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) read above Ylang Ylang in Harmony.  Lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida) is antifungal, antibacterial, a strong antiseptic and tissue regenerator.  Geranium  (Pelargonium graveolens) read above in Harmony.  Sandalwood (Santalum album ) also in HarmonyBlue Tansy (Tanacetum annuum) found in Valor.

Present Time – Step 5 –  Apply 1-2 drops on the thymus ( top of the sternum) in a circular motion
Present Time has an empowering fragrance, which give a feeling of being ‘in the moment.’  One can only progress through emotional release when in the present time.   Present Time Contains:  Neroli (Citrus aurantium) is highly regarded for its ability to heal the mind, body, and spirit.  It is stabilizing and strengthening to the emotions, promoting peace, confidence, and awareness.  It brings everything into focus at the moment.  Ylang Ylang and Spruce which is in Harmony.

Inner Child – Step 6 – Apply 1 drop under the nose and 1drop around the navel.
Inner Child is a formula that may stimulate childhood memory. When children experience abuse or trauma, they can become ‘disconnected’ from their inner child or identity.  This disconnection may not be apparent until many years later, manifesting itself as a ‘mid-life crisis.’ The Inner Child fragrance my stimulate memory response, helping one re-connect with his or her fundamental identity. This is an essential step or condition to achieving emotional
balance.   Inner Child Contains:  Orange ( Citrus sinensis) was believed to bring joy, peace, and happiness to those who possessed it. It contains limonene, an antiviral compound, and citral, and antibacterial compound. It is elevating to the mind and body and brings joy and peace.   Tangerine (Citrus nobilis) contains esters and aldehydes that are sedating and calming, helping with anxiety and nervousness. Neroli (Citrus aurantium) has been highly regarded by the Egyptian people for its great attributes of healing and calming the mind, body, and spirit. It is stabilizing and strengthening to the emotions, promoting peace, confidence, and awareness.  Neroli brings everything into focus at the moment.  Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) works well for purification. It is powerful in the regeneration of connective tissue. It may also help increase the flow of oxygen and uplift the spirit.  Other oils in the blend are Spruce, Sandalwood, Jasmine, and Ylang Ylang.

*******************************************************************
There are more Emotional oils that you can use along with the Feelings Kit, if you wish.

3 Wise Men was formulated to open the subconscious mind through pineal stimulation to release deep-seated trauma encoded in the DNA. This blend opens the crown chakra and stimulates the limbic system, bringing a sense of grounding and uplifting through positive memory recall. Place 2-3 drops on the crown of the head.

Joy is and exotic blend of ylang ylang, bergamot and pure Bulgarian rose oil which produces a magnetic energy to attract love and enhance self-love, bringing joy to the heart.  Apply 1-2 drops on the thymus (top of the sternum) in a circular motion.

Grounding may be helpful in situations where one is over-excited about new ideas or wants to escape into a protective fantasy. In this kind of mental state, it is easy to make choices which lead to bad relationships, bad business, decisions and other unfortunate circumstances.  We seek for an escape because we have no anchor to know how to deal with negative emotions.  Grounding’s aroma helps restore confidence and peace, enabling us to deal logically and peacefully with life’s decisions. Apply 1-2 drops to the back of the neck and the sternum.

Hope is formulated to reconnect with a feeling of strength and optimism for the future. Hope must be in place in order to move forward in life. Hopelessness can cause a loss of vision of goals, and dreams, making it impossible to release emotional blocks. This aroma may also help in  overcoming tendencies toward depression.  Massage 1 drop on the outer edge of each ear.

Sara is an essential oil blend formulated specifically for opening the limbic system to release the memories of serious trauma connected with Sexual and /or Ritual abuse.  Apply 1 drop over the energy centers on the navel and chest.

White Angelica is an amazing blend of 18 different oils, some of which were used during ancient times to increase the aura around the body, bringing a delicate sense of strength and protection. Its frequency protects against negative energies and helps to create a feeling of wholeness and oneness with the Creator.  Apply 1-2 drops on the crown and on the shoulders.

Trama Life helps release buried emotional trauma (i.e.., accidents, death of love ones, assault abuse, etc.). It combats stress and up roots traumas that cause insomnia, anger, restlessness, and weakened immune response.  Apply 1-2drops on ears and back of neck.

Peace & Calming  Promotes relaxation and a deep sense of peace and emotional well-being, helping to dampen tensions and uplift spirits. When massaged on the bottom of the feet, it can be a wonderful  prelude to a peaceful night’s rest. I may calm overactive and hard-to-manage children. Reduces  depression, anxiety, stress, and insomnia.  Apply 1-2 drops behind ears, and on wrists also feet.
<><><><><><><><><>
Because essential oils affect the amygdala and pineal gland in the brain, they can help the mind and body by releasing emotional trauma and sharpening focus.  People have many distractions in today’s fast-paced world. Essential oils may assist people to stay centered in their goals. Those who are struggling to retain or remember information can breathe the essential oils of peppermint, cardamom, or rosemary to stimulate the brain and memory functions for better concentration. Those who find it difficult to stay focused can breathe the essential oils of galbanum, frankincense, sandalwood, and Melissa. These oils are extremely beneficial for clarifying one’s purpose. The blend of Gathering will also bring focus to peoples’ minds. For emotional clearing  and release, the combination of essential oils called Tramua Life is especially helpful.

Stay tuned for more on essential oils and emotions in upcoming blog posts!

Appetite suppression with Essential Oils

January 24, 2011

YLTG Grapefruit essential oil

Did you know that you can use essential oils to help suppress your appetite?

The Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Institute of Chicago found that inhaling a scent (Basil, Oregano, Lemon, etc.) regularly, especially when hungry, can suppress the desire to eat.

By inhaling aroma six times in each nostril, desire to eat is inhibited. Dr. Hirsch found that sniffing three times in each nostril was sufficient. If the scent is not adequately smelled, it can increase desire to eat; so smell the oil deeply and as many times as suggested.

They also found that oils should be rotated daily for best results. We are attracted to different smells and tastes each day, and if you eat the same foods day after day, it can lead to feelings of deprivation, which is an important cause of failure when dieting.

Dr. Hirsch found that you could not over do it. In fact, the more people used scent to control appetite, the more weight they lost.

Essential Oils to use
The oils associated with cooking herbs were best. Peppermint was successful. Flowery and medicinal smelling oils were least effective. See what works for you.

Suggestions:
Cinnamon, Ginger, Black Pepper, Grapefruit, Peppermint, Clove, Rosemary, Basil, Coriander, Lemon, Sage, Cassia, Marjoram, Spearmint, Dill, Nutmeg, Thyme, Orange, Fennel, Wintergreen

How to use the essential oils to control appetite

Choose three or more essential oils to use throughout the day. Carry them on you or keep close by. The more you use them, the more effective they will be. Each day rotate the oils you used previously with three new ones.

When you find you are tempted, feel hungry, or are beginning to eat a meal, open the bottle and take at least three whiffs in each nostril. Breathe as deeply as you can, especially with the one nostril that is partially closed.

Put the cap back on so you don’t diffuse or constantly smell the oil, or you become used to the scent and it is not as effective. The goal here is not to eat, but to eat when you want and how much you want easily and comfortably.

Caution:
People with asthma or migraine headaches may find that sniffing a variety of smells can aggravate their conditions so be cautious.

Essential Oils for Depression

January 10, 2011

Young Living's Rutavala

Many people suffer with depression, especially during the winter months and during the holiday season. I would like to explore some of the essential oils that have been found to be effective for people suffering with depression. The following information comes from the Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition.

I have added the oil RutaVaLa to the list – it is a new oil and is not yet listed in the Desk Reference. It has been very effective for people suffering from stress-related depression.

Essential Oils Desk Reference states:

Diffusing or directly inhaling essential oils can have an immediate positive impact on mood. Olfaction is the only sense that can have direct effects on the limbic region of the brain. Studies at the University of Vienna have shown that some essential oils and their primary constituents can stimulate blood flow and activity in the emotional regions of the brain. Clinical studies at the Department of Psychiatry at the Mie University of Medicine showed that lemon not only reduced depression, but reduced stress when inhaled.

FIRST RECOMMENDATIONS:

Cedarwood, lemon, Omega Blue Softgels

OTHER SINGLE OILS:

Jasmine absolute, frankincense, peppermint, ylang ylang, rosemary

OTHER BLENDS:

Valor, Passion, Hope, Joy, RutaVaLa (new oil)

EO APPLICATION METHODS:

Inhalation: Diffusion, 20 minutes, 3 times daily. Apply directly 4-6 times daily.

DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS:

MultiGreens, Life-5 probiotics, Super B, Mineral Essence, Balance Complete, Sleep Essence Softgels.

Depression: Can be caused by a calcium deficiency. Stay away from carbonated drinks, which can leach calcium out of the body, block potassium, prevent protein absorption and cause hormone deficiency. When we eat heavy protein at night and do not digest our food during the night, the food ferments and takes oxygen out of the system.

  1. Harmony, Hope on ears, especially for emotional clearing
  2. Joy, Gentle Baby (on solar plexus)
  3. MGrain, Peace & Calming (back of neck)
  4. Bergamot, Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage, Frankincense, Geranium, ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Juniper (over heart); Lavender, Patchouly, Pepper (on crown for spirit protection); Rosewood, Sage (relieves depression); Sandalwood, Tangerine, Ylang Ylang

Anti-Depressant – Bergamot, Frankincense, Lavender, Chamomile, RutaVaLa (rub on brain stem area at base of skull)

Immune Depression – Spruce

Suicidal Depression – Put Inspiration on feet and hold feet for a minute until relaxed; this may start to release a past negative memory. Then put Release on the crown, rub Joy on heart chakra OR Pepper on crown, Hope on ears before bed, Gentle Baby on solar plexus and over heart in the morning.
